This is the time how i disassemble the keyboard for compaq series cq510. Compared to Acer and Asus, Compaq 510 has a complexity that is quite difficult than them (Acer and ASUS).

3. Behind the battery, there are 4 (four) keys to open keyboard.  The keys are very sensitive, careful when you slide them


4. In the Right and Left, there are 2 ( two screw) Open this use the right screwdriver



5. The last, Before replace keyboard, you have to open case first. If you first time, this is rather difficult, so becareful. It perhaps some key will broken.

Razer will release his latest portable gaming PC, Razer Switchable. They say PC gaming is going to use Intels Atom z960 processor 1.70 GHz. Not enough with that, Razer has also added several independent software such as Tencent and Changyou that serves to maximize the look of this PC.

Apa di antara kita sudah pernah instal laptop acer E1-471 menggunakan Windows 8 atau 8.1? Disini akan saya jelaskan sedikit saja, karena laptop seri menggunakan menu bios yang sedikit berbeda.

Kebanyakan Laptop seri baru ( khususnya acer ) telah mengalami perubahan pada BIOS. Dimana kita akan menjumpai UEFI dan LEGACY.

Perbedaan UEFI BIOS dan Legacy BIOS

• UEFI merupakan BIOS dengan teknologi terbaru yang dapat mendukung teknologi hardware pada laptop dengan fungsi touchscreen untuk Windows 8 dan 8.1. 

• Legacy BIOS merupakan teknologi BIOS pendahulunya yang belum dapat mensupport beberapa teknologi hardware laptop terbaru. (mengutip dari acer)

Pada Laptop Acer Acer E1-471,Jika kita ingin menginstal  Windows 8 maupun Windows 8.1  kita harus menseting Bios dengan menggunakan  seting BIOS UEFI.

Cara Seting BIOS  Acer Aspire E1-471 (UEFI dan Legacy BIOS)

Seperti biasa masuk menu BIOS dengan menekan tombol F2  - Pilih Boot - kemudian Pilih UEFI. terakhir save dengan menekan tombol F10.

Jika seting BIOS menggunakan Legacy, kemudian kita instal menggunakan windows 8 maupun windows 8.1, yang akan terjadi adalah mouse tidak bisa bekerja pada saat instalasi windows berjalan. Atau  mouse tidak bisa bekerja pada saat sesudah instalasi selesai. hal ini karena Menu Legacy BIOS belum support dengan perangkat hardware yang baru.

Support Driver

Sebagai mana pengalaman yang sudah saya alami, saya mencoba melakukan percobaan dengan menggunakan Windows 7 64-Bit pada laptop tersebut. Hasil dari percobaan tersebut, windows berjalan normal hingga selesai. Namun ada beberapa driver yang belum support dengan Acer E1-471, yaitu driver VGA. Semua driver untuk windows 8.1-64Bit support (compatible ) dengan Windows 7 64-bit, kecuali Driver untuk VGA. disitus resminya acer, Driver untuk windows  7 memang tidak tersedia sampai saat ini.

Kesimpulan.

1.  Acer E1-471, Instal Windows 8, pada menu BIOS - Boot harus diseting ke UEFI Bios. caranya bisa dilihat pada gambar.
2.  Acer E1-471, hanya support menggunakan Windows 8 atau Windows 8.1 64-Bit. Jika dinstal Windows 7, beberapa Driver tidak support.
