Acer, a Taiwan-headquartered PC manufacturer has introduced their up coming 14.1 inch business notebook that called Acer Aspire 8481 at Computex 2011. The Aspire 8481 notebook is based on Intel Sandy Bridge platform with a thin screen with slim bezel from LG called Shuriken. Unfortunately, there is no informations about price or release date are available at this moment, but the Acer TravelMate 8481 laptop is expected to be officially launched around mid-June.



Acer Aspire 8481 Features

Acer Aspire 8481 or TravelMate 8481 Notebook designed with a carbon fiber chassis with an ultra-slim display at just 4mm thick and targeted for business professionals users. Other features of Acer TravelMate 8481 includes Acer’s Bio-Protection fingerprint reader for enhanced security, Acer’s PureZone technology with two built-in microphones, USB 3.0 port with power-off USB charging, Acer’s Disk Anti-Shock Protection technology for more durability and pre loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium for operating system.

Acer Aspire 8481 Business Notebook will powered by Intel’s second-generation Core i7 processors with support Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost, an Nvidia GeForce GT520 graphics card with support nVidia Optimus Technology for graphic-switching capability, a 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a 1.3MP webcam for video conferencing and a 14.1-inch LED-backlit LCD widescreen display that has an HD resolution of 1366-by-768 pixels. The Acer TravelMate 8481 Business Laptop also equipped with a multi-format card reader, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, VGA video outputs, HDMI port and a battery life of around 13 hours.
